Cool spot, interesting space and decor. Coffee was good and staff was friendly. Not much else to say. Adequate room for seating and chilling.

Giving this place 4/5 because of their coffee. Being a coffee place I was expecting that their coffee would be very good, but it was honestly average. We ordered a mocha and a bare brewed coffee, and they were nothing out of the ordinary.
However, their food was great! We ordered the chasu bun, champorrado, and the V4 breakfast. Everything was flavorful and had a unique taste. Service is good as well but it’s a bit cold inside, so bring a jacket!

A very cute and lovely decorated Gelateria. The ice cream is creamy with very vivid flavours. Very well made

And imo their croissants are wayyy better than the 'upscale' bakeries in the area too, by a long shot! Definitely a hidden gem.

Recommend the turnovers too, super filling, super delicious, one of them can keep you going for most of the day.

Unique dessert bun, with branches all over the world. It's essentially a glazed bun with a slightly crunchy top layer, and buttered, soft, chewy interior.

I enjoyed the bun here, they're meant to be had with a hot drink which this branch did well.

Good location near stadium chinatown station, with a spot for short term car parking right outside. Try them out!

Having tried roti back in Malaysia, these rotis are disappointing and much smaller. We ordered the milk tea as well with original and other roti flavours . We only realised later when we left that there was $6 deal with roti and tea which we weren’t informed about at the cashier. Seems like the staff really don’t care about customer experience. The tea is also very bland. What a disappointment.

One of the best bakeries in town! I've always heard France had amazing pastries but when I went to Paris, I realized I had similar quality right at this place

A fairly standard Main Street cafe selling the usual baked goods, overpriced lattes and brunch fare. I found that the service was a bit cold. Nothing special about the pastries besides the eye watering prices. I did my favourite coffee shop across the street a dirty by trying this place. I was neither impressed nor satisfied.

Love stopping for a quick lunch. Most customers get take out but this unpretentious cafe has a few tables and stools next to the window table. Service is friendly, food is quick and delicious. Have gotten the breakfast sandwich, beet salad and avocado toast and highly recommend. Located on Davie, just off Burrard, in the middle of numerous restaurants, Amoka Coffee and Bites is worth the visit.

This place could be amazing but staff are very rude, unprofessional and totally out to lunch. Been a member since January. Used to come here often (daily) spending over 60$ per day, really, I used to come here daily... but stopped due to rudeness of staff a while ago. Today I thought I'd give them another chance, bought over $130 of stuff and tipped 23 dollars. Staff member came tried to get me to leave or to pay 2 non member ship fees without even checking to see if I'm a member.

They even have a poster inside that says spend more than $50 and membership fee is waived. They didn't even check to see if I was a member or ask if I was staying or having it to go. She came at me hard for the membership fee so I told her to apply my tip to the membership fee. She said she couldn't do that as that's not how it works.

I don't know the girls name but she was probably new, but the most unpleasant thing to deal with. Needs some desperate customer service 101 lessons. The other staff member is a gentlemen with black nail polish. Tried to charge me for an extra sandwich and then when he realized his mistake didn't even apologize, generally just overly aggressive and always seems to be really uptight.

I'm never coming here again, go the cannabis lounge upstairs, the staff are way friendlier. Just buy coffee and food elsewhere and hang out at the lounge upstairs. 1000x better environment.

I don't know who the owner is but I would def have a mystery shopper come visit this place to keep staff in check.

Had a couple of sandwiches and coffees here today. I wanted a blt on a plain bagel but they only had everything bagels, they made it on sourdough bread instead. The sandwich was very good. The service was friendly and professional. The pastry looked tempting but we were too full. Maybe next time. The place itself is non-descript and not memorable but clean. I'll be glad to drink a coffee or tea here rather than Starbucks next door or Denny's across the street. $30 covered a full lunch for 2, fancy coffees and tip included. Not too bad.

キノコのブレットは少しピリ辛ですが、とても美味しく後を惹かれました。ただ少なくてお腹が満足しなかったのでクッキーとフィナンシェを、頂きました。フィナンシェは出来たてだったからかあまくアーモンドプードルの風味とバターがすごく感じられる満足する味でした。お腹も脹れます。クッキーは、、２回目はいらないかな、、
スタッフの対応も雰囲気も良くリピーターがたくさんいる印象です。お客さんとお話がとても弾んでいて、アットホームで居心地は良かったです。
フィナンシェもっと食べに行きたいのですが、焼く数が少ないのかすぐになくなってしまうのが残念です。

Shopping in nearby Jean Talon market and decided to take a break with some yummy gelato. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who served us efficiently and we tried the dark chocolate, strawberry, vanilla & Sicilian pistachio - they were all delicious! I hope to come back soon and try more flavors.
