Een plek die markeert dat New York uiteraard is gesticht door onze voorouders als Nieuw Amsterdam in 1625, het land Manhattan is ook gekocht van de Indianen daar, maar de Britten hebben het land geruild voor het huidige Suriname in Zuid-Amerika in 1665, zo is de kolonie Nieuw Nederland opgeheven en is de naam van de stad ook in New York veranderd door de Britten.
