Service is not so great. Server did not care much about customer i tried to catch their attention but they seems busy talking.

The food taste was salty, i had to add hot water in my soup because I couldn’t handle it even with rice. Plus the tomyum pot is dangerous, it was wobbling and there was real candle inside plus the ladle didn’t fit so it make the pot wobble more when you try to take the soup. ( as in video)

I used to order takeout from PAI a lot during pandemic it is nowhere near the quality at that time

My first time in this location. I was very impressed with their decor. Also the big open space was very welcoming. Food of course is the star. Delicious and super creative. This time around we shared their appetizer platter … was definitely enough for 2 people. And of course, never go without ordering a side of shrimp chips!

The atmosphere is extremely gorgeous, I always seem to visit when the band isn’t playing/stage isn’t used (when are the performances?). Food is typical of the Toronto scene where it is never spicy Thai food, mostly a sweet curry base, which I’m not a fan of. Pics show appetizers and main dishes including prices and reviews for each.

Had heard a lot about this one and at first this place didn’t fail to meet the hype. Food looked amazing, vibe was right and no wait time! But then I found something on top of my steamed rice which could have been very serious if a customer decided to take it to the health authorities. The manager was swift to take action and had to pick up after the not so attentive servers. I would probably go again but will be very careful to check my food very very nicely!

I have been to the downtown location and decided to try midtown this time. The vibe is a little different and interior decor was nice. I enjoyed lunch here on a weekend, after making a reservation. The service was quick and waiters were friendly. We ordered a few plates and shared amongst the table, as the portions were large. I particularly liked the khao soi and green curry with chicken. Unfortunately some of their menu items are only available at dinner time so I wasn’t able to try some other ones.

As a customer who constantly orders from Pai, I would say, honestly, Pai may not worth the hype.

The food is good overall but their quality is not stable. The dish is usually over-/under-seasoned.😕 Also, the prices are high for the portions given. For some dishes, you can definitely get better tastes and portions with the same price at other Thai restaurants.

Here are some dishes I highly recommend:
- Pad Thai: their seasoning is unique and you cannot taste it from anywhere else. However, the seasoning can be too strong. I always ask for less salt.
- chicken satay: perfectly seasoned juicy skewers!
- pork skewers: sweet, tangy, juicy! So good!
