The place is horrible. Nonetheless the trains are modern and clean, it is overcrowded all the time , there is no way you are going to sit or sometimes even stand. The cars are designed very poorly, not enough handles to hold while driving. I’ve been to many different subways in Europe and Northern America but this one is the worst.
The most affordable way to travel around Dubai - and very simply to use.
Also highly recommended to take it from the airport - and it’s a great distance in a taxi to most hotels. The train is very well maintained and located across the city.

Dubai Metro is an amazing way for locals and tourists to get around. It is afforable. Super clean and Safe.
