Wow. Thank goodness it wasn’t a ski destination trip. I have to preface this by saying that I ski in Utah most of the winter, but I have ski-travelled all over the world with IKON. The day started with an 1.5 hour wait to get ski passes. The snow conditions are the worst I’ve had in 45 years in the sport. Lunch, which consisted of a ski resort style pizza and a hotdog sandwich and two waters was US$50. (In Santiago one person can eat like a king with drinks and wine for $25 just for reference. ). My schwag which was a Valle Nevado baseball cap and a T-shirt was $65. Go for a day like I did, say that you skied in Latin America, take a few runs and laugh about it, don’t come here for the snow.
