The problem I have with my experience at the Ace Hotel is that a shirt was fraudulently charged to my room, and the receptionists were gaslighting me until I said I'd open a dispute with my bank.

Timeline:
Nov 23: Left around 5am to catch a flight, my boyfriend stayed and slept in since he had a later flight.
Nov 24: Found out that there's a shirt charged to my room that neither of us bought. Called the reception desk and explained the situation. Receptionist insisted that the order was correct because ID is needed for a purchase to be charged to a room. I said it's impossible because I had already left. Receptionist said she'd check in with the person working on Nov 23 and call me again in the morning in 2 days (today).
Nov 26: No call received. Called Ace Hotel again and the receptionist who picked up is not the person I spoke to 2 days ago. Checked the record and said someone came down and provided my last name to get the shirt, nothing can be done. I said ok then I'm going to open a dispute with my bank. Receptionist then offered to talk to her manager and refunded the T-shirt to me because they admitted that they weren't careful enough with the procedure (didn't check ID).

I'm just frustrated that fraud could happen in a hotel with such great reputation, and while everyone insisted that the T-shirt was charged correctly, the moment I talked about opening a bank dispute they immediately offered a refund.

Otherwise, we were really happy with our stay and the room. Many people have talked about how amazing the location / amenities / restaurants are, so I'm not going to elaborate more.

The Ace Hotel's Toronto property is a total triumph IMO. They've been able to create a space that feels truly special in a location that's ideal to welcome folks to the city. The atmosphere is dripping with a cool, easy confidence that's amplified by the building's striking architectural details (if you're a fan). I've been lucky to stay a couple of times now and have to say — I'm super impressed with both their level of service and just how GOOD the restaurant/bar spaces are. Big fan! Keep it up.

Great downtown hotel at reasonable prices. Reception desk employees were friendly and efficient, room was huge and quiet and the location is safe and perfect for downtown meetings.
My only disappointment was that restaurant closes at 10:30 and room service as well, but again the location helped offers other options to eat when you have night cravings. Breakfast buffet is OK and served in a charmless meeting rooms transformed into a « restaurant ».

Would recommend and go back anytime though.

You could not find a better location than this place if you're looking to visit the highlights of Toronto. Super convenient. Excellent and friendly service on checking in. The room is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. We were greeted with lovely jazz music when we entered the room. Very nice bathroom complete with a shower and a large soaker fun tub. Looking forward to brunch tomorrow morning.

I stayed at the Hilton while attending a conference that was held there. The room was quite nice. The staff at the front desk told me the room had recently been updated, and I believe this was probably best reflected in the bathroom, which had a really nice shower stall and tiling. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows felt a little hard, but that's just not what I'm used to, so no real knock on the hotel.

I was in a room on the 20th floor, so the view was pretty spectacular. It was a view to the north taking in City Hall and University Avenue. Nice way to see Toronto, especially at night!

This is a lovely hotel with a unique vibe. The location is ideal, with a dog park across from it and the best of Toronto a few blocks away. The restaurant is excellent - and I mean REALLY excellent, and the coffee bar convenient and also very good. Comfortable beds, good design and a couple of unusual features make the rooms ideal for either a short or longer stay. We will stay there again for sure.

Large luxurious rooms, typical from what I'd expect from a higher end Hilton hotel. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The hotel and rooms are clean with a bit of a modern style. Its centrally located within walking distance to almost everything! Even though it appears that there are some renovations being done I haven't heard any noise or had any issues. It's been a great stay and I would definitely come back here again in the future

Partaken in our visit despite the fact that it was short. Outwardly spotless and the aroma was new. The room was open with a pleasant perspective on the city. Incredible client assistance, very obliging and well mannered. Didn't come to the pool however it looked fun! Area is extremely occupied yet it is downtown. Check in is at 4pm which is a bummer. Look at was simple and quick. Would visit again at some point!

Restaurant is very good food, delicious! With a very nice atmosphere. And very kind people working in the hotel!

Rooms are good especially the beds are great, i’am a tall person and beds have a very good length!! Very nice view over the park with skyline in the back.

Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were stunning, with a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The hotel's aesthetic is on point, creating a great vibe throughout. The restaurant and rooftop exceeded my expectations, and the staff even allowed us to check in early. A truly memorable experience!

Visited Toronto from Los Angeles a month ago with my partner and we really enjoyed our stay here!

Ace Hotel Toronto was at the perfect location for us and had great ambiance. The rooms were very clean, elegantly designed, and spacious enough for a couple.

All the staff there (especially the front desk) made our stay even better, they were extremely helpful and professional throughout our stay.

Also special shoutout to Dennis from the front desk, amazing customer service!

10/10 would recommend this hotel if you care about interior design, top notch service, and being at the crossroads of everything Toronto!

Das Hotel liegt in Toronto Downtown. Der Check In verlief absolut freundlich!! Wir haben uns sofort wohl und vorallem als Gast gefühlt.
Die Lage ist hervorragend. Alle möglichen Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man zu Fuss erkunden. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, geräumig und gut ausgestattet (Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine).
Das Ambiente im Zimmer ist absolut modern und zeitgemäß.
Der Blick vom Zimmer im 14. Stock der Wahnsinn!
Parken ist in der Tiefgarage möglich - 30$ incl. Tax.

Das Hotel kann ich nur weiterempfehlen. Klasse!
