visiting the zoo before 4pm, there are rarely any animals to be seen, as the animals are released in the evening only, the zoo timing strongly recommended to be changed. The paid shuttle trip was a total waste of money & time. The shuttle servive is overpriced for just being dropped to a handful of stations. As you enter, all the staff mentions you can see the animals but it's all is untrue. It's very sad to see families with kids come to see the animals and then not be able to see anything and become disappointed. The timings for animal viewings should be told before entering the zoo so that we know that most of the animals will be unavailable for viewing before 4pm . just to see the zoo and then become disappointed from not being able to see anything and leave after seeing only a handful of animals is a waste of time and money. The only animals that you can see are on the pictures only
Very poorly managed. Most of the attractions are closed or under Mantainence. Hardly we could see only few animals

It was a nice experience to do safari from here. Not much expensive even. The guide with us was so supportive and was very helpful. I actually forgot her name. You should always try Safari, Rather than just going for the shows and cages. Clean and well maintained. It’s good to see everyone embracing the digital culture.
We bought the ticket online and it helped our entry very smooth without any delay. I will always suggest to get the tickets online. There was a big queue at the ticket counter for those who were trying to take the ticket from there. Keep this also in your plan along with Jebel Hafeet and it will be pretty good.
Zoo is spread over a large area. I recommend taking the shuttle service if the weather is hot, as it is exhausting to walk in the heat although it can be expensive if there are more people. Some of the exhibits were closed or opening soon when we visited. The penguin experience was fun. We were able to feed them. Ms Noora , our guide took care of us and was very courteous. She even helped getting us around the park. The cheetah run was very short show. By the time you actually settle and watch the show it is over. Would be nice if they added more activities to it. The bird show is worth to watch. Got to know a lot of information about different kinds of birds.

My family and I visited Al Ain Zoo for the very first time last October. We had a great time, so when my nephew from Singapore visited us couple of weeks ago, I decided to take him here. We were initially disappointed as the safari tour was sold out, but we were very very fortunate to be assisted by the extremely helpful staff. I felt they went out of their way to help get us on a tour. Eventually, they succeeded. Naser, our guide passionately shared his knowledge about the nature and animals, as well as the importance of respecting our delicate ecosystem. We got to see the animals up close and feed the giraffes We had a wonderful and memorable time. The entire zoo was well ran, enclosures well-maintained, and the animals looked well-looked after. I would highly recommend Al Ain Zoo to anyone visiting Al Ain. It’s a must go!!!!
