You must have a parking pass booked beforw you come. Tickets sold out almost a week before. Parking is good for 4 hours. Parking is limited.
The trail is about 30 minutes each way(there are longer trails if you wish ) and you will reach Indian Head Point first. It is much larger than the actual Grotto. It was packed.
If you continue to the grotto the climb is tricky and narrow.
If you swim at Indian Head point it's crowded. Be aware that there are some shallow areas and if the rocks appear orange that is algae. I bring this up as it is slippery. So be careful.
