I've been wanting to try Pizza Yard for a while whenever I'm at Governor's Island. I was finally able to try it and I was disappointed in the lack of flavor in the pizza. I ordered the classic margarita. The pizza is made to order so we had to wait a bit but not too long. Maybe my expectations were too high but I found it really lacking in flavor. The ingredients are good quality but I just was not impressed with how doughy the pizza was. Maybe more cheese would have helped.
